At Raahi Roots, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with every booking and purchase. This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling event tickets and returning art/craft products. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
This policy complies with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
2. Event Ticket Cancellations & Refunds
2.1 Cancellation by Customer

2.2 How to Cancel
- Log in to your Raahi Roots account
- Navigate to “My Bookings” in your account dashboard
- Select the event ticket you wish to cancel
- Click “Cancel Ticket” and follow the prompts
- Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method
2.3 Cancellation by Raahi Roots
We reserve the right to cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances such as:
- Insufficient registrations (minimum attendance not met)
- Adverse weather conditions (for outdoor events)
- Instructor/artist unavailability due to emergency
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.)
If we cancel an event: You will receive a 100% full refund including any booking fees, processed within 5-7 business days. Alternatively, you may choose to transfer your booking to a rescheduled date if available.
2.4 No-Show Policy
If you do not attend an event without prior cancellation, no refund will be issued. We encourage you to cancel at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot attend.
3. Art & Craft Product Returns & Refunds
3.1 Eligibility for Returns
You may return a product and request a refund under the following conditions:
- The product is damaged or defective upon receipt
- The wrong product was delivered
- The product significantly differs from its description/images
- You received an incomplete order
Note: Due to the handmade nature of our products, minor variations in color, size, or pattern are normal and do not qualify for returns unless they materially differ from the product description.
3.2 Return Timeframe
- Return requests must be initiated within 7 days of delivery
- The product must be unused and in its original packaging
- All tags, labels, and accessories must be intact
3.3 How to Request a Return
- Log in to your Raahi Roots account
- Go to “My Orders” and select the relevant order
- Click “Request Return” and provide details with photos (if damaged)
- Our team will review your request within 2 business days
- If approved, you will receive return instructions and a prepaid shipping label (for damaged/incorrect items)
3.4 Refund Processing

Refund Timeline: Once the returned product is received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.
3.5 Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Products damaged due to customer misuse or negligence
- Customized or personalized items
- Perishable items (if applicable)
- Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable”
- Products returned without original packaging or tags
4. Refund Methods
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase:
- Credit/Debit Card: 5-7 business days (may take additional time based on bank processing)
- UPI: 2-5 business days
- Net Banking: 5-7 business days
- Wallets (Paytm, etc.): 2-3 business days
- Cash on Delivery (if applicable): Bank transfer within 7-10 business days
Note: Refund processing times are estimates and may vary based on payment method and bank processing times.
5. Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be issued in the following cases:
- Bookings canceled within the 3-7 day window (75% refund)
- Bookings canceled within 24 hours to 3 days (50% refund)
- Product returns due to change of mind (product cost only, shipping non-refundable)
- Disputed transactions resolved in favor of partial refund
6. Disputed Transactions
If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorized, please contact us immediately at roots.raahi@gmail.com. We will investigate the matter and respond within 7 business days.
For payment disputes raised through your bank or payment provider, we will cooperate fully with the investigation and provide necessary documentation.
7. Gift Cards & Credits
Refunds for purchases made using gift cards or store credits will be issued back to the original gift card or as store credit. Cash refunds are not available for gift card purchases.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
